We accept photographs that you have taken yourself, and we turn them into US passport photographs, then post them to you. We guarantee that they will pass all of the United States government guidelines for the passport and visa photographs.

If you'd prefer, you can just email your photo or photos to passports@uk-photo.comJust state that you require an American passport or visa photograph. It's best to send a few photographs. That way we can pick the one that is most suitable.
There are only a few things that you need to do to ensure that your photograph is suitable for converting into a United States passport/visa photo.
- Ensure that the background is white or off-white with no noticeable pattern.
Suitable backgrounds are: wallpaper, bed sheets, table cloths, painted walls, curtains or a plain painted door. - Neutral expression. Slight smiling is permitted for American passport photos.
- Glasses should be worn if you normally wear them.
- Religious hats and head scarves may be worn but must not obstruct the face.
If you follow the simple instructions above, your photograph should meet the requirements necessary to make your set of passport photos.
- Use the form above to send the photo to us.
- If the photo is not suitable, we will indicate the photographs shortcomings and provide advice on how to improve your photo.
- If the photo is acceptable, we will send you an email with a link to our secure payment page where you can make a payment using any debit card, credit card, or PayPal. If you cannot pay by any of these means, we can arrange a cash, cheque, or postal order payment.
- Once payment is received we will process and print your photos and post them to you on the same day. There is no charge for postage.
The US passport/visa photo set costs £9.00
You will receive a set of four photos. (Additional sets of photos cost £3.00 per set)
Also, the image file will be emailed to you, as the US state department are beginning to demand passport photos in a digital format too.
